Who is Timmy Eaton?
Ā
Timothy George Eaton grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. He now lives with his wife and six children in Southern Alberta, Canada near Waterton National Park. For the past 16 years, Timmy has homeschooled his children alongside his talented, thoughtful wife. He has taught high school and university students for 20 years, and Timmy earned a doctorate degree in Education at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. He wrote his dissertation on homeschooling, specifically focused on how homeschooling prepares students for university learning.
Recently, Timmy started a podcast called This Golden Hour. He interviews homeschooling parents to learn about and from their stories and experiences with homeschooling.Ā
When he's not talking about homeschooling or teaching, Timmy is reading, exercising, enjoying homemade ice cream, and spending time with family.
